CDSM 2008: Call for Abstracts Now Open
Conference: Melbourne, Australia
The organising committee for the International Congress on Chronic Disease Self-management is pleased to invite submissions for presentation at the 2008 Congress.
The theme of the Congress is Chronic Disease Self-management: Innovation and evidence of effectiveness in workplace, community and healthcare settings.
The conference will consist of one day of workshops followed by two days of presentations. These will include showcasing innovations in Chronic Disease Self-management in a variety of contexts (settings, disease groups and modes of intervention), proffered papers, and cutting edge presentations from both Australian and international leaders in the field.

Come and share solutions to taking the next step towards the quality mark for lay led self management at the Positive Place on 23rd July 11am - 2pm. All stakeholders and providers in self management welcome.
PSMP Tutor Training

run by The Positive Place for tutors living with or affected by HIV/AIDs who have already attended a 1 day training event to deliver the CDSMC/Expert Patients Programme. (Note: to build capacity in the HIV sector, tutors living with another related long term condition are also welcome)

Claire Foreman who is the manager of the SW London Commissiong group, the lead commissioners for the South London HIV Partnership. A good meal will be provided and we have arranged creche facilities.
